Sample Research Papers for Quantitative Research Design:

Click on the provided link to view a sample paper written by Angela Beck.  She later presented this paper at the 6th Annual UW-System Undergraduate and Graduate Conference (2005).  The paper is entitled:
The Process of Attaining a Victim Identity in a Case of Date Rape: The Impact of Gender, Victim Blame, and Victim Precipitation.  This paper represents an excellent example of how to conduct and write-up and experimental design.

Click on the provided link to view a sample paper written by Lindsay Ejnik.  She later presented this paper at the Annual Meeting of the Midwest Sociological Society in Minneapolis Minnesota (2005).  The paper is entitled:
Social Bond Theory and College Student Marijuana and Alcohol Use: A comparative Analysis between Two Causal Models.  This paper represents and excellent example of how to conduct and write-up survey analysis.
Sample Tests and Exercises for Quantitative Research Design--downloads may not always be available.

Data Entry Exercise: Entering Data into SPSS: take your time on this exercise.  The data that you enter will be used to answer questions on your first test.  If you haven't input the data correctly by the time of the first test, expect to loose points on your test.

Sample Test 1: lecture, chapters 1, 2, 8, and 9 (Hagan) and SPSS (Kirkpatrick: pages 1 - 24)
Sample Test 2: lecture, chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6 (Hagan) and SPSS (Kirkpatrick: Chapters 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12)
Sample Test 3: SPSS-Nonparametric Tests of Comparisons, Correlation, and Regression Analysis (see Kirkpatrick: Chapters 14-17)
